The Hate U Give Virtual Gallery
While studying race and racism, a group of MUMS 8th graders read and analyzed Angie Thomas’ award-winning book The Hate U Give. Students were asked to create art pieces that represented the different themes present. In this virtual gallery you will find visual art pieces, written pieces, and sometimes a combination of both. There is an audio link on every slide with each student’s explanations of their work. Please view it in the “present” model (upper right-hand corner), so that you may get the full effect.
